Art Workshops for Children and Adults
The Other Art Room is run by Sally Minns, a qualified teacher and practicing artist based in London.
It is born out of the belief that everyone can be creative and that art is for all. Often barriers of judgement are placed in our way before we have chance to develop and practice our skills and Sally is dedicated to sharing her skills and knowledge across all age and ability groups, to develop confidence in drawing, painting and making. With a freedom away from prescribed curriculums and rules, she encourages everyone to connect with art, take risks, have fun and be part of an artistic community.
The Other Art Room offers a unique set of workshops, across sketchbook practice, drawing, acrylic and oil painting, and en plein air wild drawing. All workshops are taught in person, and students are offered bespoke tutoring from their individual starting points within group settings, in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Alongside her own diverse art practice, Sally is a co-founder, Resident Artist and Art Practice Mentor at RuptureXIBIT in Hampton Wick and an active member of the London Borough of Richmond artistic community, she also teaches on the post-graduate painting course at The Heatherley School of Fine Art, London, as a guest tutor.

All of the summer workshops will take place in the front studio space at RuptureXIBIT.
